Flower and Garden Festival

So Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival is my ALL time favorite festival. It’s also pretty up their on the list for my favorite experience at Walt Disney World. The over all vibe of the festival is so fun, and is a great way to kick off spring time. Something I love about this festival compared to the others is that this is all about the FRESH EPCOT! From all the yummy outdoor kitchens to all the different topiaries it’s a great time. This festival goes on all through the end of May!

Some of my favs:

When it comes to the gardens and exhibits a few of my favorites are the Butterflies on the Go, Health and Healing Garden, Geranium Grandeur (new this year!), and of course I love alllllllll the beautiful topiaries all throughout the world showcase. My favorite this year is the Beauty and the Beast, and the Lion King!

on to the food and drinks:

Well no surprise when I tell you the FROZEN VIOLET LEMONADE is the absolute best!!!!!!!! It is my favorite and you can find this at the Pineapple Promenade. Also at the Pineapple Promenade is the spicy hotdog with pineapple chutney and plantain chips. Next is Urban Eats which is my favorite outdoor kitchen of the festival; watermelon salad is a must! The crabless cake was also pretty yummy, but the watermelon salad was my favorite at Urban Eats. Next up we have Florida Fresh both the fresh squeezed watermelon juice and the Quat Seasonal Fruit Ale. Favorite being the Quat Seasonal ale! The shrimp and grits were also amazing, they lived up to the hype! FRUSHI FRUSHI FRUSHI! I defiantly hate sushi but love Hanami outdoor kitchen all for their frushi! The frushi is fresh pineapple, strawberry, and melon rolled with raspberry coconut rice with whipped cream. It is delicious and a light treat! The next outdoor kitchen that lives up to the hype is The Smokehouse literally EVERYTHING on their menu is to die for. Pulled Pig Slider with Coleslaw (tip if you like cheese ask for the cheddar fondue), Smoked Pork Ribs with Black Bean and Corn Salsa,Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash with White Cheddar Fondue and Pickled Jalapeños, and Warm Chocolate Cake with Bourbon-Salted Caramel Sauce and Spiced Pecan. Can you say YUM?! IT IS ALLLLL SO YUMMMYYY! But I might be biased as Barbecue is my favorite type of food. Last up on the list is the Island Grove Blueberry Moscato at The Berry Basket!

So if you have yet to make it to The Flower and Garden Festival you still have over a month to get there! I have yet to try everything, but I am working on it! What are some of your favorites?!!
